"ROAD OF PEACE" to be Published by Lynx Press on October 1st: The First Epic Account of a Chinese Artist on the Ukrainian Frontlines

On** October 1, 2026**, coinciding with the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, the English edition of ROAD OF PEACE will be officially printed and published by** Lynx Press** in the United States. This volume marks the world’s first officially published monograph dedicated to standing firmly with Ukraine against Russian aggression, authored firsthand by an artist. It also stands as the inaugural epic recording a Chinese citizen’s direct experience on the ground in Ukraine, practicing international humanitarianism and visual resistance.

The protagonist of this book is Du Yinghong, a renowned Chinese artist. Over the past five years, Du Yinghong has endured unimaginable persecution and pressure for publicly speaking out in support of Ukraine and relentlessly exposing the Putin regime’s terror and its behind-the-scenes manipulators both online and in public spaces both domestically and internationally. Faced with suppression from multiple sides, he did not choose silence, but resolutely embarked on a perilous journey across thousands of miles, going alone to the front lines of the resistance in Ukraine.
Throughout recent years, Du has tirelessly used major social media platforms daily to broadcast the truth of the war and expose the aggressive nature of the Putin syndicate. He has exhausted his personal means to provide substantial humanitarian aid and has actively supported justice-minded Chinese citizens joining the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, defending shared human dignity with concrete actions at the absolute forefront of the anti-aggression struggle.
According to the newly revealed table of contents, ROAD OF PEACE is grand in structure and progressively layered, documenting Du’s core viewpoints, performance art pieces, and historical testimonies over nearly five years. The book’s timeline comprehensively spans the first, second, third, fourth, and now fifth anniversaries of the Ukrainian war of resistance. It serves not only as a multi-year chronicle of the war but also as ironclad proof of his unyielding, day-in-day-out resistance against relentless persecution. Innovatively, the book utilizes QR codes to extend its content to video materials and a continuously updated peace website.
Politically and historically, the book directly confronts core issues. In chapters such as “China’s Security Commitments to Ukraine” and “Russian and Soviet Crimes Against China,” Du precisely deconstructs complex international geopolitics. In “The Distinctions Between Political Parties, the State, the Motherland, and the People,” he clarifies the boundaries between justice and evil. Furthermore, in segments regarding the Bucha Massacre, he records the brutality of war from a first-person perspective, utilizing irrefutable documentary prose to permanently nail the atrocities of aggression to the pillar of historical shame.
As an artist who has dedicated his life and work entirely to justice, Du presents segments in the book covering “Current Affairs Calligraphy,” “Painting and Visual Resistance,” “Peace Symbols, Artifacts, and Public Art,” as well as “The Kiss of Peace” and “The Road of Peace.” These sections demonstrate how he transforms his physical body into a weapon, mobilizing global support for Ukraine through deeply stirring live performance art installations worldwide. Additionally, in the “Chinese Anti-Russian and Aid-Ukraine Memorial Plaque Project,” he has forged eternal physical monuments for the righteous souls from mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan who sacrificed their lives in the war against aggression. He stated that he wants Ukraine and the entire world to know that the righteous people of China stand with Ukraine against aggression.
The publication of ROAD OF PEACE carries a unique political and cultural weight. It shatters traditional information cocoons, presenting to the world the genuine voice of Chinese civil society pursuing justice and opposing authoritarian power. It is not only a grand record of a journey forged by passion, art, and faith, but also a spiritual lighthouse reminding humanity never to compromise in the face of tyranny. The English edition will be officially released worldwide in the coming days.
Reports indicate that Chinese and Ukrainian language editions will also be published successively in the near future.
